2 part Engineered floor with a Hardwood top surface bonded to a multilayer waterproof Birch Plywood. Boards can be Nailed, Stuck Down, or Floated depending on product type and sub floor. Parquet woodblocks must be stuck down. All floors are Tongue and Groove with Ends Matched unless stated otherwise.
Micro Bevelled means a very small v shape can be seen on the long sides of the boards. The ends have no bevel.
Nail fixing is usually done via a nail gun, e.g. Porta-Nailer, where a serrated nail is inserted through the tongue at 45 degrees.
Sticking involves the use of an adhesive to bond the wood flooring to either a concrete/screed sub floor or to a ply/chipboard sub floor.
